Meet Theresa Nissenbaum, HIS

Meet Theresa Nissenbaum, HIS

I graduated from Worcester State University, where I conducted research with Dr. Keith Darrow, focusing on the link between hearing loss and cognitive function. Our work highlighted how treating hearing loss can significantly improve cognition and help reduce the risk of cognitive decline and dementia.

Since graduating, I’ve been proud to work with Hearing and Brain Centers of America, where I’ve continued to grow professionally. I’m an active member of AudExperts and am committed to ongoing education through specialized training focused on the treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus, and the cognitive issues often associated with them.

I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with their families, regain confidence, and maintain their independence. I love coming to work each day and strive to build strong, lasting relationships with my patients, so they always feel supported and comfortable reaching out for help.
