Frequently Asked Questions

What are the 5 medical benefits of treating hearing loss?

Treating hearing loss can improve communication, cognitive function, emotional well-being, social engagement, and overall quality of life while reducing tinnitus, the risk of falling, and dementia. Note that treatments are personalized based on individual evaluations.

How do you treat tinnitus?

We treat tinnitus with Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT), lifestyle changes, prescriptive hearing technology, and sometimes supplements like Melatonin and Vitamin B12. A personalized plan will be created after an evaluation.

Will I see Dr. Darrow?

Dr. Darrow works with our clinic and he trains our entire team.  You will be working with a Dr. Darrow trained specialist.

How much is a hearing test?

Your comprehensive hearing evaluation and cognitive screening is a part of an effective treatment plan for hearing loss and/or tinnitus.  We can get started for $232, including your first 30 days of treatment.

Can I get hearing aids without your treatment plan?

After 50+ years in hearing healthcare we do NOT recommend purchasing a hearing aid alone for a major healthcare condition.

We’ve carefully crafted a research verified approach with Harvard Medical and M.I.T. Trained Neuroscientist to ensure comprehensive care and customized prescription throughout the treatment plan for your specific needs.

What brand of hearing aids do you have?

We offer various brands of prescription grade hearing aids to fit your specific needs and preferences. To find the best option for you, we'll need more information about your symptoms.
